What’s Old Is New Again: id Promise A Return To Form With New Title
id should be showing their new FPS off at QuakeCon. Which will be interesting, considering their recent track record has been a little...blergh. Perhaps acutely aware of this fact, they're promising that the new game will be a return to form, and a return to their roots: fast action. Creative Director Kevin Cloud:
Yes, we are doing something different, but it's still going to be fast action. We're still going to be first-person shooters and in-your-face immersive action, but yes it's not, you know, Doom 3.Good. Doom 3 was like being locked in a dark room while somebody cut my dick up with a rusty butter knife. No more of that, thank you.
