For Queen And Country: Australian Army Jumps On America’s Army Bandwagon
The Australian Defence Force is in a bit of a pickle. The current government likes to send Aussie troops to such exotic, far-flung locations as Iraq and Afghanistan. Problem is, Australians don't want to go. Don't even want to join the army. Can't be arsed. So they've got a manpower shortage, which they're trying to address by offering cheap flash games on the ADF's recruitment page. Can't fault the logic in that one. I know every time I play a fun little sniper minigame on my PC the very next thing I want to do is get sent to the desert to get shot at by some mad Afghani with an AK.
