Highbrow!: Into the Pixel Unveils 2007 Collection
If you're looking for game-related art that's a cut above most of the fan art out there, the 2007 Into the Pixel collection was announced on Friday:
The video game industry's annual Into the Pixel art exhibition announced 16 works of art that have been selected for its 2007 Collection. Now in its fourth year, Into the Pixel (ITP) is the world's only juried art exhibition that brings together experts from the traditional fine art world with interactive entertainment industry veterans to explore the art of the video game.
While you can see the whole collection online (as well as collections of years past), the printed and framed art will be debuting next month at E3, and is being unveiled for public consumption at the E for All Expo in October. I'm a fan of the "Piñata Cascade," though I'm not sure I'd actually want it hanging in my house.
