360-free: Team Ninja Nixes Sigma for 360
It probably shouldn't have been expected, but I'm sure some stalwart Xbox 360 fans were hoping that Ninja Gaiden Sigma would somehow find it's way onto the Xbox 360.
Ain't gonna happen, says Team Ninja. The dev's leader Tomonobu Itagaki told Famitsu: "We're getting requests to port Sigma to the Xbox 360, but we currently have no such plans."
He goes on to say that the game was really created for people who've only ever had PlayStation games and never got a taste of the Gaiden. "This is why we're not considering porting Sigma to the Xbox 360."
Despite the lack of Sigma, outside of the PS3, Itagaki says that they are still working on sequels and new games for the DS and 360.
