Children Slavishly Anticipating New Pokemon Games
Them kids are just about ready to KILL for a new Pokemon game: Nintendo are claiming over 533,000 preorders for Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. And that's just in the US. For reference, LeafGreen and FireRed went on to sell nearly 3.5 million copies, and they had less than half that many preorders (can't say exactly how many, Nintendo didn't quote the figures, so add just a pinch of salt to that one). So it's safe to assume these are going to sell...more? Probably!
It's 2007. I really thought the whole Pokemon thing was done and dusted. Goes to show you can't keep a good Nintendo property down.
