Subject: Mayonnaise Is So Not Cool
All this time, I was worried about my elderly parents not being able to eat CRAZY food like raw beef or uncooked chicken or horse or whale. But, tonight I found out the big no-no: My parents don't like mayonnaise. This I never knew growing up. I remember eating Hellman's Mayonnaise, seeing it around the house and whatnot, but no, they hate it. It's taken me 28 years and living in Japan to figure out that my parents dislike mayonnaise. Just when you think you know someone or don't. Bizarre.
