This Day in Gaming, December 30th

1992: Human Entertainment releases Dragon's Earth for SNES in Japan. There is a bit of debate on the actual release date of this game, but we are going with today. I know it's an RPG, but absolutely nothing else other than there seem to be plenty of romz available and that our planet does not actually belong to dragons (yet).

1997
: Digicube, a vending machine selling Square Co. games, reported that their units had sold over 10 million games. Their numbers would continue to grow through 1998, when they sell 8.6 million games. But by 2003, they declare bankruptcy. With download distribution taking over, it was inevitable.
