Zune In “Might Play Games” Shock
Chris Lewis, Xbox Europe boss, on the Zune:
At the moment, we are focused on creating connected experiences around music for Zune. You can already plug your Zune device into your Xbox 360 to stream music, pictures and video content. Looking ahead, the vision for connected entertainment provides a number of consumer scenarios and with our heritage in Xbox and Games for Windows, gaming is certainly something we're considering for the device.
Oh I'd say you're more than considering it, especially seeing as the Zune is now out and nobody cares. In fact, I'd go so far as to say it's a pretty big priority over in Zune-land right now, because at least by hooking up with XBL or PC games (in any capacity), or even better, having some games of its own, it'll give the Zune a purpose and maybe kick-start some sales.
