PS3 Online Username Registration MIA
PAL gamers, did anyone really believe Sony when they said they'd enable online registration for PS3 usernames? Friday came and went, and the PlayStation Store had nothing up about the service whatsoever.
Three Speech feigned ignorance on the subject, offering:
We've been trying to find out what's going on regarding being able to register usernames online via the PlayStation Store (we were originally told this would be in operation worldwide today). All we're being told at present is that the launch of this service has now been delayed - and that a new date will be confirmed shortly. We'll keep you posted.
So, Three Speech (read: Sony) are pretending they don't know what's going on? Even though it's their own "service"? Come on. This thing never has existed, and probably never will. Sony, lies make baby Jesus weep, especially when they're pitched at a PAL market that's not exactly enamored with you at the moment.
