Nintendo’s Reggie Profiled By Seattle Times

The man that launched a thousand consoles, Reggie Fils-Aime, has been profiled in an in depth article by the Seattle Times. Still making waves 2 years later over his "ass kicking" E3 2004 speech (at least according to the Seattle Times), the groundbreaking President of Nintendo of America continues to break the rules of professionally acceptable behavior in a high ranking business executives.

The article quotes several industry people who speak very highly of Reggie and his unorthodox methods including Microsoft's Peter Moore and our own fearless leader, Brian Crecente. Never one to back down from a challenge, Reggie ends his interview with his view on the console wars.

"They will see our results," he said, "and they'll see how much of a challenge and dogfight this new era of gaming will be."

A dogfight? Hot damn, I hope it's the cool Star Wars kind rather than the scary back-alley kind. Although, the back-alley would be awesome if they used those stuffed Nintendogs.
