Lost Planet Multiplayer Demo On The Way

Capcom is going all out to promote it's upcoming game, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition. It all starts with a 60 second cinematic trailer that will hit theaters on November 17th, playing before Casino Royale and other select movies. Then comes the new multiplayer Xbox live demo, to be launched on Thanksgiving Day, November 23rd. The demo allows up to 16 players to battle it out in the "Pirate Fortress" level of the game, with four game modes: Elimination, Team Elimination, Post Grab and Fugitive.

Then the 24th, Capcom is launching a special preorder program. When you reserve the game at participating retailers you will receive a code that lets them download a special version of the demo that also includes the "Dilapidation" map, giving fans plenty to do while waiting for the game to release in January.

I am really looking forward to trying out the multiplayer myself. The original Lost Planet demo was amazing. It made me realize the full potential of Xbox Live as a content delivery system, as well as rekindling my childhood desire to own a high-powered retractable-line grapple gun.
