This Day in Gaming, October 2nd
2001: The TV Show Final Fantasy: Unlimited launches in Japan. It runs for about a year before cancelled. Any fans? It's hard for me to get excited about Final Fantasy video because every game starts a new story.
2001: Nintendo starts a contest to win a Gamecube, asking "What would you do for a gamecube?" "Would you stand on one leg?" "Sure." "Would you act like a monkey?" "Uh-huh!" "Would you kill a man?" "Wait, did you say Gamecube or Wii?"
2002: Eidoes releases Hitman 2: Silent Assassin for PC. PS2 and Xbox in the US. What is it about voluntary lack of hair that is so badass? Is it like, "I don't even NEED hair to kick your ass"? Or is it more we are afraid the glare will blind us in a fight?
