This Day in Gaming - Yesterday Edition
Yesterday we made a terrible error and ran today's TDIG. So, to restore the yin yang that is life, we are publishing yesterday's TDIG today. We apologize if you were embarrassed at a cocktail party or other soirée by innacurate gaming knowledge you drew from yesterday's post.
1992: Nintendo releases Super Mario Kart for SNES in Japan. What does Mario love more than Princess Peach? Sports cars of course! ...or in this case, moderately underpowered go-karts. Peach is totally cheating with Bowser anyway.
2000: EA releases The Sims: Livin' Large Expansion Pack for PC in the US. Instead of partying on mansions and boats, the add-on had more to do with working at fast food establishments and gorging on free gorditas. Or it should have. We can't remember.
2001: Nintendo releases Mario Kart Super Circuit for GBA in Japan. Yeah, if we hadn't run a retraction our beloved readers would have missed out on TWO Mario Kart game releases. We call that unacceptable.
