The jump has the full descriptions of the castles and halls.
Lineage II Chronicle 5: Oath of Blood
In the chaotic world of Lineage II, clans and alliances vie for control of the land. Clan hall ownership and castle sieges are the pinnacle of the Player versus Player experience. Two new castles and a number of new clan halls have been added to the world in Chronicle 5: Oath of Blood.
Schuttgart Castle
Nestled high in the mountains of Elmore, Schuttgart Castle stands as an economic and political hub for the northern half of the territory. As with all castles, the clan leader who owns Schuttgart Castle controls the tax rate of the region, as well as has the ability to develop the local economy using the manor system. A strong clan would be needed to take over and defend a castle of this size.
Four new purchasable B Grade clan halls have also been added to the adjoining Town of Schuttgart.
Rune Castle
Rune Castle resides majestically in the southwest of Elmore kingdom. A royal castle in both influence and appearance, Rune Castle holds power that rivals that of Aden Castle. Because of this, tribute is paid from Goddard and Schuttgart to Rune in the form of taxes.
A very powerful clan or an alliance of clans would be needed to rule and defend a castle of this magnitude. Aesthetically, Rune Castle is unique, consisting of vast outer courtyards, long spacious inner hallways, and a throne room befitting the largest castle in Elmore.
Deep with in the castle many secrets are held. The most interesting and most dangerous is the boss monster Benom. Before a castle siege, this vile creature appears in the prison below the castle. At this point, he can be attacked by anyone if they are able to reach him. If left untouched, Benom has a nasty habit of showing up in the throne room while a castle siege is taking place to wreak havoc.
Seven new purchasable A grade clan halls have also been added to Rune Township.
Contestable Clan Halls
Three new contestable clan halls have also been added to the world of Lineage II: The Wild Beast Reserve, the Fortress of the Dead, and the Rainbow Springs Chateau. Clans can battle against each other or clash with legions of monsters to win the right to call these clan halls home.
Wild Beast Reserve
Located northeast of the Beast Farm, the Wild Beast Reserve is a clan hall that can be controlled through combat after a beast taming quest has been completed. Upon victory, the owner can decide who gains access to the tamed beasts that roam here.
Fortress of the Dead
Located to the south of the cursed village, the Fortress of the Dead is the highest grade contestable clan hall in the game. Clans of level four and above can sign up to participate in a siege-style competition for this very valuable property. Participants must defeat the formidable Lidia von Hellmann, the undead matriarch of the von Hellman family. A clan leader who owns the Fortress of the Dead will have to ability to ride a Wyvern through the skies.
Rainbow Springs
The Rainbow Springs Chateau sits just north of the Hot Springs. Clans of level three and above can sign up to participate in a unique competition to gain temporary ownership. A resident of the Springs will lead the clans in a game to win this unusual clan hall.
