The Master Chief is… Denzel?
According to DarkHorizons.com, Denzel Washington is now being linked to the role of Master Chief in the upcoming Halo movie, produced by Peter Jackson.
No source for the rumor, no concrete proof... just the mumblings of Hollywood. I love Denzel, and I won't even bring race into this by mentioning that I always pictured the Master Chief as an Eskimo. But it's sacrilege to replace Steve Downes as the voice of the Master Chief... the confident roll of gravel in his throat makes the Master Chief. Denzel's a fine actor, but to lose that voice, that dreamy voice!
