SCEE job posting hints at WipEout on PS3

News4Gamers.com reports that SCEE is looking for a Senior/Lead Designer to 'realize the future of WipEout on PSP and PS3.' Seeing as how WipEout Pure remains one of the PSP's few bright spots, it comes as little surprise that Sony plans to continue this futuristic racing franchise on its next console, coupled with a portable sequel on PSP. Regardless of this being an obvious move, this is the first reliable confirmation of WipEout on PlayStation 3.And for those of you interested in the job, it's unlikely that such a high profile position will remain on the market for long. Browsing the SCEE website now, we no longer find record of the posting.
