"On the Nintendo for kids issue.

How many kids do you know that have the patience to play Super Monkey Ball outside the minigames?"

Uwe Boll Wants to Kick Your Ass (No, Really)

"Rule #1 of any professional in any art-related field: A vast number of people will hate your work. It's a GIVEN. If you can't handle it, you were never meant to be an artist.

...Rule #2: Wear a beret and smoke cloves."

Games Are Dead, "Lack Spark"

"You're not as excited about games as you used to be? It's called growing up, aging, and otherwise losing your innocence/excitement because things have become routine.

I thought Mario Sunshine was disappointing, but my 6 year old nephew thought it was the most exciting game in the world.

Reality is perception. That's why the key to staying 'young at heart' is to never lose that feeling of excitement about new things. IMHO anyway."

Crazyman Kutaragi: "Go, Zig, Go. You Know What You're Doing

"I don't like Sony's reps. They aren't in touch with gamers whatsoever.

Before complaining about the 'hating' too much, make sure you don't correlate Sony's PR and business practices with the actual console and games.

I dislike Sony as a company. It's disgusting how smug their reps are. It's disappointing that Sony's products have taken a dive in quality over the last decade. And dealing with their constantly failing proprietary media formats can be a headache.

But I will still enjoy playing FFXIII and any other exclusives for the PS3. However, I have a feeling it will be the least played console in my setup just like the PS2 is now."
