i dont no whats wrong with these people liked dragonball z budokai but you could of had gt sayaiman turn super sayin or at least side quest in the game like in the cell saga bulma made that bomb to destroy the andriods and you could have but in the garlic jr saga and there could have been some! anime in there like ultimate battle 22 but overall dragonballz budokai is fun
I love DBZ Budokai,but they should have had movie villans like Cooler, Android 13, Bardock, Meta Cooler, and from the Ledgond of Trunks, Gohan after being hurt by the androids.
Also, in Story Mode they should have shown how Piccolo gets so badly damaged that he has to ride Gohan to the Space Capsule. They could have shown that Piccolo and Tien loose their left arms, Piccolo against Raditz, and Tien during his fight with Nappa.
I love budokai so much but you should add more abilitys,levels, and characters. They should have friezas two other transformations. That would be better. they should also make the moves bigger so it would look cooler. You should also add more levels like planet vageta or something like that. There needs to be more characters like cooler,meta cooler,garlic.jr,bardock and all of the ginyu force. Well thats all i want to say so bye.

hi everybody. i’m from norway so i’am not so god at english so try to understand. i think they should have characters from movies like brolly,cooler,metalcoller, bardock,android 13,14,15. and when you are in a fight and the oponent do a super attack at you should your chlose be a littel damedg. more attacks.

I personally want to thank the creators for making such a great DBZ fighting game!! I’m such a great fan of DBZ Iknow that Budokai 2 is coming out on December 10, 2003. I have two questions for you guys. Can you really get the Super Saiya-jin 3 in a capsule after you beat the advanced world tournment with everyone? Also can you get Super Saiya-jin 4 after you beat the advanced world tournment with everyone then when you select Goku press select+X on the American version? I loved this game and am currently writing a review in my own words/ideas/knolege about the game to hopfully get on other sites and of course my own,this is also 1of the best games ever in my opinion and I wish more peopkle agreed!
budokai 2 is coming out 14 november in norway and that is so cool. you cant get ssj3 capsule in budokai 1 but you can in budokai2, and about ssj4 i dont know. there arent so many secret moves on budokai 1. mail me if you wonder about something

Budokai is a fun game if you are a DBZ fan,but if you are not you might not have fun playing it.
There are some things that could be made better,
but its an average fighting game.
I think that this game is horrible i had to burn it just to get it out of my mind. me and some other friends burned all our copies and started a bond fire. It has poor graphics, Voice acting, gameplay (cmon its nearly impossible to beat turnaments). It is also polygonrific. I would rather play aquaman than this game.

ive played dbz budokai 2 and it is the best game in the world, sadly there are no cheats for this game. trust me the good thing is that there is lots of hidden characters.the game play is good and umlike dbz budokai this game has an enhanced story mode called “dragon world” but some characters like frieza only have one costume,and he does not transform

i think that they just copied the first one and just anotated it a little even thoe it was kinda sick and i did like it.
they should really make it a multiplayer adventure cause people do like to come to your house and play it with you. you should be able to fly through the stage like superman and go to other planets and fly there to like namek, king kai planet, great kai planet and supreme Kai planet and also earth with no boundries, that way people wont get bored

for budokai2 get everything by going 2 skill shop and hold L1,L2,R1 and tap triangle twice do that over and over and i do meen alot and u will get everything!!!!! if that helps people out there that are stuck great so return the favor and tell me how 2 get the dragonballs in dragon mode thats about all idont know how 2 do in the game thanks

hey i love budokai 1 and 2 but in buokai 1 there should ave been like an extra bit about bardock leading the resistance group against frieza because he learned or frieza’s plans to destroy planet vegeta.And also about Broly the way Goku,Gohan,Piccolo,Trunks,Vegeta and all the Z warriors fought him and lost. And Cooler wasn’t even in it!! Neither was Garlic Jr. Apart from that Budokai 1 was fab i’ll give it 8 or 9 outta 10.
Now for number 2
it started off great but the story is a bit messed up.In the 2nd stage where Frieza,Ginyu and Recomme is that isn’t even part of the series!!
But the level after that is messed even more!!
If u defeat Frieza (and only Frieza) the planet blows up even if u never fought Ginyu,Recomme or Vegeta.And u can pick Adult Gohan (weird or wat)
And right after the frieza saga it jumps straight to the Androids(nope no Garlic Jr or Zarbon or Dodoria)and if u defeat # 16 Cell comes from nowhere and absorbs #17 and #18 (freaky)
and it also jumps the sayiaman saga and fusion and world tournament saga. Though u get Gotenks later and sayiaman and hercule and videl.And during the Babidi, Buu and Kid Buu sagas cell and frieza are there (like we miss em) not too mention those pesky Cell Jr’s and Saibamen!!
hopefully budokai 3 is gonna be dragonball gt

For dragonballz budokai2 you can easily get all the capsules. First go to edit skills, Then go to skill shop, After bulma finishes greeting you press R1,L1,L2,Triangle,Triangle. It doesnt always work so just keep trying until you reach 100% on capsules.
Creators for the next budokai, i mean for the next budokai 3, ifthere will be one, please make the character with different power level, so you can see the difference, even when you are in different stages of super sayin, make an arena to practice to increase your power level, can you put dbz gt character on the next budokai, like baby, baby vegeta, ect. that would be awesome.

personly i don’t think there should be a dragonball z Budakia 3. instead there should be a dragonball gt budakia one with all the characters in dragonball z and Gt. heres how the main menu should be.
* Story mode
* Duel
* world tournament
* Cheats
* Art gallery
* Bio
* Capsule corparation
* Options
For story mode u should be able to train to get to higher levels. By doing pushups, situps and chinups, and you should also make them train in the hypobolic time chamber.
In the duel all the characters should be there, i do not like to unlocking them. (that sucks)
howerver i do like the graphics the moves and special moves on dragonball z budakia 2. I reckon the tournament should stay the same as budakia 2
and finally you should have pictures and bio’s and the characters.
P.s you should have all the villians from the movie’s to such as brolly and cooler.

LOL DBZ Budokai 2 rocks i got everycharactor except majin vegeta the cheat didnt work. I also got 100% capsules by using l2 goin in and out of the capsule corp place. Sorry there is no brolly in this game

hi i just wanted to say dragonballz bodokai is good the way it is but i think if u put in the energy clashes it would be a whole lot better or u will be able to throw the energy blast back like if i catch u in a combo and im gonna do my kamahama there should be a certain amount of buttons to press and u trhow an energy ball back and then u will have to move the analog stick as quick as possible to determine the winner or if i cant manage to throw an energy ball back u catch it and throw it back or away but u still have to move the analog stick to see who wins and it would be kool if you put gogeta in thats all i say to say thanx for reading this e-mail me if u think its good enough

Look at it this the only people u get in the games is the only ones that are in the show during that saga, and i did not see any ss4 goku kicking majin buu’s butt.

lol ive posted this before, there are no codes for brolly. besides they wouldnt put charactors that arent in the show, brolly is only in movies, so thats all.so, any charactor that is in the movies and isnt in the show they cant get, of coarse its like the weaklings, like most of the ginyu force.

First off, there will be a budakia 3. Right now though, I’m not at liberty to disscuss my sources. I will however say that Budakia 3 will be known as Dragonball Budakia (with no Z) and it’s story line will be just about the best in all of the dragonball games for the Ps2.
The story line mode will span from Goku’s fight with kid Uub at the martial arts tournament on through DBGT itself all the way to the Super Android 17 saga. The progress of it is shown in the same style as Budakia 1 but with better discriptive scenes. The style of the progress is gonna be a bit strange though, in the first fight, you get the choice to play as Goku or Uub in their tournament fight.
After winning the tournament fight, a bright flash of light is shown and you get to see the DBGT theme song in 3D. Afterwards, it get’s a bit confusing but really sweet as hell. A clip (not in 3D) is shown from the actuall anime showing Pilaf wishing Goku to be a kid again which I think is a very nice touch. The next thing shown (now in 3D) is King Kia warning Goku about the trouble of the black star dragonalls. Afterwards is a still image of Goku, Trunks, and Pan coming back to Earth with some info on a black bar about what they went through.

Along with the storyline mode, there will also be (in mode terms) Options, World Tournament, Training (which is extremely sweet because you can play as Uub training under Goku which is kind of like Budakia 2’s, only with Kid Uub instead of Goten), Practice, Character Bio’s (which are just on Goku, Pan, Gohan, Trunks, Uub, and Vegeta), and a hidden mode choice known as movie viewer that’s unlocked after beating the entire story line mode.

I think that dragon ballz budokai isn’t a very good game because it fail to produce a good story mode for goku. Furthermore, the game fail to make goku the strongest character since he is because I find playing as his youngest son much more easier. The game also fail to produce all of goku and other characters moves, and their isn’t enough character in the game. The game also fail to separate the class and strength and power of each special moves e.g. the punches take up to much blood whereas the special take up not that much. Futhermore the characters movement isn’t that responsive and can easily be hit by the opponent. In addition their is not enough stage to battle and the enemy isn’t that challenging and could be defeated to easily.
I think that the next game of dragon ball z should be about goku turning into super sayan 4 (the big yellow monkey, then the small guy in red fur). This is because I think that as a fan, I would rather play a game base on the very last series dragon ballz GT then the old series. In addition, the boss in GT seems much more powerful like the boss that is born when the dragon ball start to break and release this black gase. In this game, their could be the fusion of goku saya 4 and vegate saya 4 to fight the dragon ball. The new game should be base on GT because all of the character is at their strongest and has all these new moves and attacks.
I want to finish by saying that I am disappointed with the Budokai 2 on PS2 because the game play isn’t that good with limited graphic design and most important of all, the game should show part of the dragon ball series (cartoon or manga) when you beat a stage instead of reading what happen because I bet most people already know what happen and expect to watch the dragon ball series then read. The game should also allow people to unlock the draon ball z cartoon to watch instead of some new characters that does mostly the same moves. I hope the next game wouldn’t be such a disappointment!!!!!!!!!
To the guy who doesn’t like budakia that much, don’t worry because the third release for the Ps2 (Dragonball Budakia) will live up to your expectations and then some. For example in the unlocked mode, movie viewer, you get the choice to watch the first Cooler movie or The Worlds Strongest (DBZ movie 2) uncut and in thier original formats.
Also is the end boss Super Android 17 whom is gonna make Cell look like a saibamen. And finally, you will get a Super Saiyan 4 capsule for Goku.
And even though the story mode doesn’t go pass the super android 17 saga, you will get level 4 Vegeta and One Star Shenron (among others) by imputting the proper cheat code to use in duel, practice, and world tournament modes.

i think both games were x-lent i liked dragon world for the second game. i think ultimate battle 27 sux. i hate the graphix in it .any way both the games r x-lent. i can wop ur butt in both of them.

Well i liked budokai one i thought that it was pritty kool but, damn they could have mad it better like haveing a lord slug soga and cell jr. and sibaman and gt sayiaman should have turned super sayain or something and i could never figure out how to get cell to have his musels all bulged up like they were after goku took him to king ki’s and he blew up then came back if i were to give to a score from 1 to 10 id say 7 plus there should be a cheat that lets ur charecter start out in top form and have 7 max kia well thats just my opinion thanks bye

i really liked the game but it would have been cool if a lot more characters were in the game like cooler and king cold and the evil dragons. or even if you could create your own saiyan character and give him different moves. dont get me wrong i love this game but the dragon mode story thing was a bit cack to be honest.

PERSONALLY I ENJOYED BUDOKAI SURE THERE WERE MINOR SETBACKS BUT OVERALL IT WAS A GREAT GAME
