Cheat Codes
Start the game with the “avp.exe -debug” command line parameter. Then while playing a game, press “~” to display the console. Then enter one of the following codes while playing as the indicated character (Marine, Predator, Alien or Any) to activate the corresponding cheat function (all character must be capital letters):
Marine:

I am having a rough time figuring out how to use the patch i downloaded for aliens vs predator gold. I downloaded the AVP098 patch but I have no clue how to access the cheats. Where do I enter the command lines? Please help.
to use the -debug right click on avp icon , then go to properties, in target you have to have “C:\Program Files\Fox\Aliens versus Predator\avp.exe” -debug then put in a shortcut key like ctrl+alt+ whatever letter you want, then push apply and okay then your set, you have to push the ~ button then enter your code, hope i helped somebody out, it took me forever to figure out.
Again a board of retards, at least one got it right. You’d think that if you at least had a PC you’d understand some of the terminology that comes with it?

How do I play this game? I never get far beyond my barracks and I use up all my ammo trying to break glass to open doors. The cheat codes online are weak. Help me.
dude, i got to level 3 and your still on level 1 !? trust me keep practing and youll get it.really i had to go through hell to get to level 3(whew!).and by the way where is the command line parameter?

To make a command line work first you must make a shortcut of the exe file, in most versions of windows, you can use the right mouse button to drag the .exe file onto your desktop it will give you 4 options, Copy, Move, Create SHORTCUT, Cancel.
Create the shortcut, right click on the newly made shortcut inside you shall see the target line add -debug to the end of the line, you will not be required to type the address, so there wont be any mistakes.
to open the command console use the Tidle key (think its spelt that way) ~/` its left to the number one
